To provide funded expeditions based on historical military raids and ground-breaking mentoring programme to the military community in order to improve overall health of its beneficiaries.

About

We are a group of serving and former service people from across the Royal Marines, Royal Air Force and British Army. We are all volunteers. In 2022 we were drawn together by a common aim of retracing Operation FRANKTON, an audacious raid from WW2 which we successfully completed in December 2022 on the 80th Anniversary. We raised over £40,000 from our corporate sponsors and the general public with over £8,000 given to our chosen charities via our Just Giving page. Since then we have planned and delivered training courses, expeditions to France and Norway and provided support to an upcoming TV series, ‘Commando’.

This is a training weekend to bring together members of the Cockleshell community. Past, present and future are all invited to join us for a multi-activity weekend as well as a formal dinner to celebrate the 360th birthday of the Royal Marines (all welcome) Join us

To demonstrate the benefits of adventurous training to both serving military and veteran community.
To provide funded places on expeditions for members of the military family, regardless of circumstances.
To raise funds for a chosen charity partner for a 12-month period.
