The CS22 Veteran Expeditions CIC concept has been wholeheartedly embraced by The Royal Marines family and as such, the incredible Izzy from Indigo Zulu Ink has forged a relationship with the social enterprise. Taking our inspiration for our expeditions, Izzy is able to create original pieces of art which we are able to use to generate funds to provide funding for our activities to those who couldn’t otherwise afford it. The inspiration for this piece was the memorial created by artist Luke Perry which was installed in Stockport, Greater Manchester to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the raid. Stockport was home to Marine James Conway, a 20 year old milkman who joined the raid and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
